In 2016 the Government of Mexico through the Mexican Postal Service, Correos de México in November, issued the postage stamp to commemorate the 50 years of uninterrupted services to the national and international aviation of the engineer Roberto Kobeh González.
Unanimously by the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), at the end of his presidency and for his outstanding work in the understanding of antagonistic States, the decision was made to appoint him a Lifetime Goodwill Ambassador, a position he continues to exercise in favor of the integration of the youngest mode of transport, civil aviation.

Eng. Roberto Kobeh Gonzalez received the acknowledgment from the Latin American countries with the presence of the ICAO Council, for his contribution to improving the acceptance of the displacement of its aircrafts in the North America air space.

The Republic of Romania, through the Ministry of Education, Research and Development, awarded him a diploma and a medal for his scientific and professional contribution to the development of aviation in that country, on May 29, 2008 at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.

As part of the meeting on "Perspectives and Global Civil Aviation Issues" held in Singapore, he was given a representation of the symbolic sculpture "Going Home" similar to that found in the Southeast Asia's busiest International Airport.

The President of the United Mexican States gave him the “Lázaro Cárdenas” Award, the highest award granted by the National Polytechnic Institute in his capacity as a distinguished graduate.

In Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico, the “16th. session of the Conference of the Parties and the 6th. Conference of the Parties as Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP 16 / CMP 6)” of the United Nations on Climate Change, with the participation of the engineer Roberto Kobeh González.

His name was engraved on the Commemorative Plaque “100 engineers in 100 years of aviation in Mexico”.

He was honored with the prize of the International Council of Airports Latin America and the Caribbean (ACI-LAC) for his leadership and support to the airport community, in the Latin American region and for his extensive experience in the field of aviation and his support to the aeronautical industry of the world.

The Government of Burkina Fasso awarded him the National Order Medal for his extensive experience in aeronautical activities, his exceptional leadership, his multiple presence in Africa to promote the improvement of civil aviation in that continent and his strong support of the AFI plan.

He presided over the delegation of the inaugural act of the National Agency of Civil Aviation of Burkina Faso.

He received the certificate of Honorary Citizen of the City of Zhengzhou granted by the Government of China.

On November 22,2013, he received the recognition of the three international governing bodies of the aeronautical industry segments.

At the end of his responsibility as President of the International Civil Aviation Organization in December 2013, his image was unveiled in the presence of the appropriate authorities. The Ex-Presidents of ICAO Gallery is located in the lobby of the base building in Montreal, Canada.

During his administration as President of ICAO, he gave special attention to the Member States in their request for advice and recommendation. Singapore was a country that constantly submitted its aeronautical development plans to his consideration, which is why Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew distinguished him with the medal FRIEND OF SINGAPORE, in 2015, being the first time that country grants it to a foreigner.
